Off to Colorado

When I was four months old, Mommy and Daddy took Bear and me to Colorado. Mommy went to an art class for equine natomy (whatever that means). I heard her say that. Bear and I got to go to the park where all the dogs go to play. They call it Bark Park. It was really cool. Bear doesn't like it much cause she's too old and grumpy to play. She just watches and makes sure nobody hurts me. Once, I was playin REAL rough and a big dog knocked me over. Bear came as fast as her old legs could go to save me. I felt real proud. I think she did too. Everyone at Bark Park said how gorgeous I was. I  don't know what that means for sure but I think it means cute. Daddy took us there every day while Mommy was in school. Sometimes he took us to the lake. Bear went in and even went swimming a little. I was afraid of the water and Bear made fun of me. I was only brave enough to go up to my knees. I had to stay on a leash at the lake cause there were birdies and I like to chase birdies more than anything. We went to a concert at the park and I started barking to try to get the other doggies that came to the concert to play. Mommy and Daddy said I shouldn't do that but the band was making  way more noise than I was! Then it started thundering and lightning and I thought that was way cool! We got all wet and ran for it. I liked Colorado. It was fun.
